Max Alalibo with Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
Max-Alalibo was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Aaron Alalibo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, one of the six major producers of crude oil in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
His late father, Maxwell, was a humanitarian and Civil Servant who attained the apex of public service as a Permanent Secretary in the Rivers State Civil Service before his retirement. His late mother, Daba, was an astute business woman and also a humanitarian before her retirement.
Shortly after his high school, Max ventured into live stock farming, which, in addition to his training as a Designer and Painter, later announced him early in life into the business world, to which he fully endulged himself after acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), in the present day Enugu State.
He went into business full-time in both Design and Painting, as well as livestock farming, and was able to build his business from the scratch, recording relative success in a short while.
The business not only broadened his scope in service, but also increased his experience in Human Relations, which enabled him to effectively combine business with his passion for service to the people. This passion developed astronomically and led him into politics, where his versed experience in Human Relations came to bear.
It soon earned him an appointment as a Returning Officer during the state-wide General Local Government election, and Community Representative in Degema Local Government Area of his State, by the then Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, the late Rt. Hon. Tonye Harry.
Max also had a stint in the legal arena while working with the renowned Professor of Jurisprudence, Alswell Osini Muzan, in his legal firm, not as a lawyer, but as a Personal Assistant on environmental matters.
As a Hindu, brought up in a strict Christian conservative setting, with a father who believes that when you give your word in an endeavour, it should be a bond, Max lived up to his billing in vitually all sense of it. This background has also come to play greatly in him, both as a Hindu, and virtually all spheres of his life’s pursuit.
Max is married to Rose, and the marriage is blessed with two children, both males.

Move To The United States Of America
After what can be described as a successful public service career in Nigeria, which mostly found him serving his community in various cadres as the leadership deemed necessary, Max later moved to the United States of America with his family to start a new life. On arrival, he took up employment with a retail store (Family Dollar Store) as a Floor Associate.
In no time, he was moved by his innate desire to contribute to the development and growth of society, however infinitesimal this might be. He decided to first develop himself further by going back to school to study Corrosion Technology at Houston Community College, and concluded in record time. This was followed by another stint as an employee with The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD.
Shortly after, with what can easily be christened a twist of faith, enhanced by the passion he has for public service, Max got involved in politics at Fort Bend County from the grassroots, where he served his Community by creating awareness on the importance of election and voting rights.
He was eventually elected as Precinct Chairman, and also appointed Election Judge for four years. Since then, the fire of service to the public has never stopped burning in him.
His zeal to serve the public and his over fourty years experience in Human Relations, enhanced by his empathetic and conservative nature, not only put him in a good stead, but has also made him to seek for better avenues to serve the public. This has now necessitated his quest to seek to represent Texas House District 27, with a 5-pronged plan, as a start: Public Safety; Healthcare For Veterans And Seniors; Economic Growth And Jobs; Infrastructure And Community Investment; as well as Accountability And Accessibility.
